Cholesterol granuloma occurs in the middle ear and mastoid frequently, but frontal sinus cholesterol granuloma,
although rare, have typical histologic and radiologic features. This case was a patient with chief complaints of
headache and hyposmia. PNS CT showed a well defined soft tissue density mass and osteolytic lesions in frontal
sinus. Histological specimen showed numerous slits like cholesterol clefts surrounded by multinucleated foreign
body type giant cells with hemosiderin pigments. We have experienced a case of cholesterol granuloma of frontal
sinus, which was managed by endoscopic sinus surgery and marsupialization successfully. So we report this case
with a review of literature.
